MAHLE is based in Laktaši is MAHLE Electric Drives Bosnia d.o.o. Our production facilitie is equipped with machines for the production of parts for industrial and automotive. Parts that we produce are Stamp components, Brush holders, Rotors, Coils, Stators and EPS motor. In production processes, 424 employees manufacture engine components on more than 350 diferent machines. The Laktaši production site is only 8 kilometres away from City center of Laktaši and has own canteen and free parking. There, employees appreciate its good working atmosphere, possibility to learn and good working and healthy enviroment.
Good infrastructure
Part of the Republic of Srpska, i.e. Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Laktaši municipality is located, occupies the northwest part of our republic or more precisely, the area between the Capitol city of Banja Luka and the municipalities of Gradiška (citiy on border crossing with Croatia), Srbac, Prnjavor and Čelinac.
It is administratively divided into 11 local communities with 37 settlements, on total area of 38,838 hectares.
The estimation of Statistical Bureau of Republic of Srpska based on the final results of the 2013 Census, says that Laktaši municipality, in 11 local communities, has 36,848 inhabitants, while 5,879 inhabitants live in the municipal center.
This area intercepts important roads: Banja Luka-Gradiška-Okučani highway (highway Belgrade-Zagreb), Banja Luka-Doboj highway, and roads: Klašnice-Prnjavor and Laktaši-Srbac, while the international airport of Banja Luka is only three kilometers away from the municipal centre, making this area close to European and world metropolises.
